Privacy Policy

Smart Tools Pro · Effective date: 29 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GO PRACHI LABS (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile application Smart Tools Pro (package name com.goprachilabs.smarttools) (the “App”). Your privacy matters to us. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

In plain terms: Smart Tools Pro is a collection of 70+ everyday utility tools — calculators, unit/currency converters, health & habit trackers, a document/QR scanner, maps & navigation tools, weather, and more. The data you create in these tools (notes, health logs, habit entries, calculation history) stays on your device and is not uploaded to our own servers. We use trusted Google services for maps, ads, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and purchases, as described below.

1. Information we collect and how we use it

Data you create in the App

Notes, habit entries, health logs (weight, sleep, water intake, and similar), and calculation history you enter into the App's tools are stored on your device only. We do not upload this content to our own servers and cannot see it. Sensitive health entries are stored using Android's encrypted on-device storage.

Location information (precise and approximate)

With your permission, the App accesses your device's GPS and network-based location to power specific tools: Compass, Speedometer, Altimeter, My Location, Distance/Area Calculator, GPS Tracker, Weather Forecast, and Sun & Moon. Location is processed on your device and is not collected while these tools are closed. It may be sent to the third-party services listed in Section 3 (for example, to render maps or retrieve weather conditions). We do not store your location on our own servers.

Camera

With your permission, the App uses your device camera for the Document Scanner, Barcode/QR Scanner, and Magnifier tools. The camera preview and any captured images are processed on your device; the App does not upload your photos or scans to our servers unless you explicitly choose to export or share them yourself.

Microphone

With your permission, the Sound Meter tool reads a relative decibel level from ambient sound in real time. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Storage and media

The File Manager, Storage Analyzer, and PDF tools read file and media metadata on your device (using Android's Storage Access Framework where possible) to show size breakdowns and let you manage files. This stays on your device.

Device and usage information

We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to diagnose crashes. This may include app events (such as which tools are opened), device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and general region/country, and crash diagnostics. This helps us fix bugs and improve the App.

Advertising information

The free version of the App shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier and related data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. See Section 4 for your ad choices.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (which generates a device push token) to deliver habit/task reminders you schedule and optional app update/tip notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Purchases

If you buy the optional “Pro” upgrade (one-time purchase or yearly subscription, which removes ads and unlocks premium tools), the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so we can unlock Pro features and restore them for you. We never see or store your payment card or billing details — those are handled entirely by Google.

Information you choose to provide

If you email us (for support or feedback), we receive the email address and message content you send, and use it only to respond to you.

2. Sensors

The App reads device motion and environment sensors — the accelerometer and magnetometer (for the compass and level features) and the barometric pressure sensor where available (for the altimeter). This sensor data is used on your device in real time and is not personal information about you.

3. Third-party services

The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

4. Ads and your choices

Ads are served by Google AdMob. You can control personalized advertising on your device:

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 3 so they can perform their functions (for example, showing maps or ads), and where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or us.

6. Data retention

Tool data you create (notes, health logs, habit entries, history) stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App; you can also export or restore a local backup from the App's Settings. Data handled by the third-party services in Section 3 is retained according to their respective policies.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including storing sensitive health data using Android's encrypted on-device storage. However, no app, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. You can exercise device-level controls at any time by revoking the App's location, camera, microphone, or notification permissions in your device settings, and by resetting or opting out of your advertising ID. To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below.

10. International users

The App and the third-party services it uses may process information in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. By using the App you consent to such processing consistent with this policy.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, so please review it periodically. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
